Hello Everyone,
Last week I spent the majority of my time preparing the Yoga studio for the reopening of our group classes.....setting up hand sanitizing stations, putting tape down for mat placements, setting up the live -stream camera, making masks and gloves available, buying a non-touch thermometer. As I did this, my gut felt tense with anxiety, running all of the mask scenarios through my mind plus all of the protocols being forced on us as business owners & Yoga teachers. My heart-sense was that I was forcing something that wasn't ready to happen....at the cost of what I really value, freedom & choice.
After talking with Helaine and Ava, and counseling with some of my mentors & senior Yoga teachers, I have decided to postpone the opening of group classes at this time.
I feel that our offerings will be diminished and diluted if we carry on, following the mandates during group classes. This was not an easy decision.
My intention is to offer you an experience based in safety & truth, beyond fear & anxiety. Forcing people to take temperatures, distance themselves from one another, and keep a mask on during Yoga does not feel right to me or our teachers.
I understand many of you will be disappointed but I promise you that this decision was made with your well-being at heart. We hope you can understand and respect our position.
We will continue to offer you classes online as there are over 40 classes to choose from! watch.thecenterforvitalliving.com
As you go about your day, remember that fear and anxiety are at the root of illness & dis-ease, be mindful of what you let into your life. Take good care.
Thank you for your support!
