WHY OUR PROGRAM IS UNIQUE?
At The Center for Vital Living, our core belief is YOGA FOR EVERY BODY.  Our 200+ hour training program will put an emphasis on THERAPEUTIC YOGA , learning to work with a variety of mind/body types and be able to address individual needs, not forcing one type of Yoga for everyone.  Whether you decide to go on to teach Yoga or use it for personal growth, you will learn how to safely, confidently, and accurately teach Yoga to the public plus learn to navigate through the process of building a career as a Yoga teacher.

This program will look at the more modern, physical teachings through the lens of the deeper, philosophical teachings. There will be a strong recommendation to continue your Yoga education after this training, hopefully a life long commitment to studying Yoga!

This program is 1 year long and is purposely extended out so the student can assimilate, absorb and integrate the teachings into their own life first..... then, if desired, it can be taught and shared with others.
Learn how you can live a more fulfilling life through Yogic principles and share them with your students
Picture
In this comprehensive training program we will delve into over 20 hours of Yoga Philosophy, Ethics & Lifestyle. Through lecture, readings, discussions, and personal application, students will learn how to integrate the deeper teachings of Yoga into their daily lives, into their teaching....appreciating that the application of Yogic principles does not end when one steps off the mat.
Teach with authenticity, teach with confidence, teach with accurate knowledge

Teach what you know...... with over 175 hours of Anatomy, Physiology, Teaching Methodology, & Practicum, teachers in training will be ready to safely and effectively teach Yoga AND create a rich, personal practice.
Therapeutic Essentials - Learn how to adapt the practice for Individual Needs
Picture
At The Center for Vital Living our core belief is "Yoga for Every Body".  During this training we will discuss, observe, practice and assess individual needs in a class/group setting and how to address these needs, keeping in mind each body is unique with specific needs.
